The delicious Deborah Lohse and I created a dance happening for ANYONE that dares to perform in New York City. The Shakedown Dance Collective is an inclusive, project-based dance group designed to gift literally anyone with professional performance opportunities.

The 1st hour is a cheeky, low pressure, dance class. ANYONE can have fun, dance their butts off and go home if they choose. The 2nd hour we rehearse for an upcoming performance. What if I Have NO Dance Experience?
No need, you're perfect. Challenge yourself, be adventurous.
What if I Have Too Much Dance Experience?
No such thing. We'll give you a way to shine.
Do I Have to Perform?
If you want to. You could just take class- open to your whims.
What Styles of Dance?
We focus on popular styles (jazz, funk, ballet, modern) but challenge participants to learn any and all styles.
Do I Wear Special Shoes?
Any shoes, or lack there of, is totally fine- dancer's choice.
